“You will be punished for your crimes!” Kad growled deeply at the criminal.
Her breath heavy and steamed from the edges of her open mouth. She wasn’t going to give this guy mercy. Giving the last words on her mark, she locked her gun, aiming it at the criminal’s chest once again. But something stopped her. The noise of a gun shot from the distance. Kad looked back, only to be pounded down to the ground with the very shot she heard.
“KAD!” Slen yelled.
Kad was wiped clean of her very words she had left. Looking at Slen as she had fallen face forwards to the ground. Slen immediately ran up to her and adjusted her position to sit upright. Coughing with a shortage of air, she removed her hand from where she was shot, getting shot in the waist. Just below her ribcage. She looked up at Slen and struggled to smile at him.
“H-Hey…” Coughing up with very little to speak of.
